Enoch López ( born in Zaragoza, Spain),took his first steps in latin-dance in 1998, taking classes with the best national and international teachers at that moment. Little time after, he started to work as a teacher and to compete, getting several local and national awards. His concept of latin dance and salsa changed when he learnt the New York style. It made such an impact in his way of feeling salsa, that he decided to go to New York and take classes for several months with some of the greatest salsa masters like Frankie Martínez or Eddie Torres, among others. Yoana Merino entered into the dance arena at the age of 10, taking very different types of dancing: Jazz, Spanish classic, Flamenco, Hip Hope, Sevillanas, ballroom and of course, salsa and other latin dance. In 1999 she opens with her mother a dance school in San Sebastian which is being acknowledged and getting much success in her city. Enoch and Yoana met in 2005 and decided to create YE mambo, a project based in the New York Style. Although this style was not very well known in Spain, they´ve had a great success in very little time, becoming one of the most popular couples within Spanish Salsa world. The mixture of expression, strength and flavor in their choreographies, as well as their good technique on stage and professionalism when teaching workshops, have enchanted Spanish audience. It´s in 2007, after having performed in the most important Salsa Symposiums in Spain (MadridInternational Symposium, Murcia International Meeting, Spain Salsa Festival in Barcelona, Galicia Salsagoza Salsorro, , etc) when YE mambo stars to perform abroad in countries like Germany (Salsa gala in Frieburg),Greece (Athens), France (París Mambo festival), Portugal (Lisboa internacional Salsa Congress), England (Uk Salsa Congess), and Los Angeles Salsa Congress in 2009.
